Started in Dallas, Texas in 2016, SL Taylor Investments is a woman-owned business committed to acquiring, improving, and divesting commercial real estate properties.
The company focuses on multifamily and retail investments and leverages the team’s deep commercial real estate experience to generate risk-adjusted returns for investors.

Sandra D. Taylor
Owner and Principal of SL Taylor Investments LLC
Having performed all facets of CRE from the ground up, Sandra started her career as a property accountant before working her way up to project and construction management roles at CBRE, Hunt Development Group, and Prudential.

In her 28 years of experience, she’s held every title from portfolio manager to project manager to construction asset manager – a true jack of all trades in the industry who understands the nuances of each stage of development and redevelopment.
In between her corporate experiences, Sandra founded and operated a property management company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She and her partner grew the company over seven years – eventually expanding the portfolio to 24 properties that totaled 1.5M square feet of retail, office, industrial, and flex space and a facilities management contract for 12 statewide banking facilities. Before taking a project manager role in new development at Hunt Development Group, Sandra and her partner represented, marketed, and sold the company for 2.5x EBITDA.
Before founding SL Taylor in 2016, Sandra managed a $2.5B portfolio for Prudential Asset Resources in Dallas, Texas. Now, she serves as the Principal of SL Taylor Investments – handling business operations and construction management. Sandra leverages her 28 years of experience across the CRE industry to manage operations, property acquisition, construction, new investor relations, and the redevelopment of B & C grade multifamily assets for the business.

Involved in real estate in many ways, Sandra is a passionate board member for CREW Dallas – an organization that focuses on advancing women’s careers in the commercial real estate world. She also serves on the Board of Trustees and as Director for CREW in the Community, the chapter’s philanthropic entity that helps Dallas women by creating pathways to success and economic independence. To date, Crew in the Community has raised and given back over $3.6M.

Sandra previously served as President of the Institute of Real Estate Management and as a member of the Board of Directors and Education Chairperson for the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico.
Outside of real estate, Sandra gives back to the Dallas community through volunteer work at the Highland Park United Methodist Church, North Dallas Food Bank, the Housing Crisis Center, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Cancer Society.
Lance W. Taylor
Principal of SL Taylor Investments LLC
During his 32 years of experience in the CRE industry, Lance Taylor has been intimately involved in the acquisition, asset management, development, disposition, and entitlement functions of over 100 properties throughout the United States.

Across his seasoned career as a real estate executive, he’s overseen 17M square feet of property and generated $1.8B in gross transaction volume. Lance has developed $350M in ground-up and redevelopment retail properties.
After earning a degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin, Lance worked at a boutique investment company focused on anchored shopping centers in the Western United States on behalf of Apollo Real Estate and Guggenheim Partners. He then served as a Director at the Archon Group (a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs), developing two power centers totaling 1.4M square feet.
Next, Lance joined Stream Realty Partners in Dallas to help open their retail platform where he and his business partner created a portfolio of 2.5M square feet of third-party management and leasing space. From there, he served as VP of Real Estate Asset Management at Deutsche Bank in Dallas, spearheading the ownership of nearly 3M square feet in New York City, Boston, Minneapolis, Dallas, Greenville, and Hilton Head. Most recently, Lance served as a Director at EB Arrow, managing a $500M portfolio of four shopping centers in Southern California.

Lance joined Sandra on the SL Taylor Team in late 2020, leveraging his institutional ownership and development background to focus on new acquisitions, underwriting, and capital markets for each asset the company acquires.

Involved across the industry, Lance joined the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) 24 years ago – chairing the Texas Convention in 2014 and serving on the Governmental Relations Committee for 3 years. He has also been a member of the Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) for 26 years and earned his Texas Real Estate Broker license in 1992.
